2009 Calendars in the Round
by Janice on Dec.04, 2008, under Folio of Work
Anouncing.....
“2009 Calendars in the Round” series
I’ve had a merry couple of days putting together this set of sixteen 2009 poster calendars. … Calendars with a difference… they are round – with January 1st at the top and the year moving on in a clockwise direction.
They are very easy to read and use , especially as you can see the whole year at a glance.

Folio: Walking track and interp brochure for Hollybank
by Janice on Nov.12, 2008, under Folio of Work
Earlier this year I was asked to put together an interpretation and walking track information brochure for the Hollybank Forest Resurve. It was intended to be a small introduction to the history, environment and facilities for casual visitors to the reserve. It is a 3-fold (A4 size paper) brochure and has not yet been printed. .. Soon I hope – especially as summer comes on and there are more visitors asking more questions and getting lost on the tracks!
Folio: Print Media Advertising for Hollybank
by Janice on Nov.10, 2008, under Folio of Work
Over the past half year I have, one by one, created a series of advertisements for Hollybank Treetops Adventure, for use in various print media. The one to the right was used in a local wine route touring guide brochure.

Folio: DL Brochure design for Hollybank Treetops
by Janice on Nov.07, 2008, under Folio of Work
I have recently been designing and re-designing the DL advertising brochure for work (Hollybank Treetops Adventure). The original design, when we opened, was created by an ad agency in Hobart, but since then I have been doing a lot of the graphic design in-house, so we thought I’d have a go at the DL.

The 1st effort was quite good…. The 2nd effort, currently in the proofing stage, is a whole lot better I hope. Check out the results:
What is an Online Folio?
by Janice on Oct.30, 2008, under Contemplation's
I was talking to my mother on the phone yesterday, about this blog, because I was getting myself all confused as to what it is meant to ‘be’ and how it should be laid out …. is it meant to be just a burble of whatever vaguely artistic in subject crosses my mind? …. or a serious site where I can provide tutorials and tools for others and so on? … or is it primarily a folio site to display my finished work?
Which got me thinking …. …. …. Just what is an online folio anyway?
