Freebies: 8 Book Spine Images

Here is a bit of fun for someone out there. I was going to use these book spine textures as link buttons on my website, but changed my mind… so they are looking for a good home. The file sizes are a bit more than 10cm tall at screen resolution… so they are ideal for adaption to buttons. They have been saved as .png files with a transparent background.

To get the different coloured books from only 8 spines in the sample above, I just played with the hue/saturation, levels and other adjustments a bit. . .

I’ve just found your blog, and I love it!
I wanted your permission to use the book spine images above for web buttons for my website. The website is of a commercial nature & I’ll be using it to buy & sell stuff, so I thought I should ask you.
I’m not selling the images though, only using them in designing my own website.
